Community Supported agriculture (CSA)

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is an alternative distribution model for fresh produce. It is a partnership between farmers and community members. In this exchange, the farmer produces fresh vegetables and delivers them to the members every week, which in turn provides us with a market and stable income.
For the farmer, having a predictable and consistent market helps tremendously in successfully running the farming business. With the unpredictable nature of farming, like bad weather and insects, it's good to have a secure market.
For the consumer, it's a way of securing part of the harvest, but it's also a way of investing in local agriculture. By supporting local producers, you are taking a step towards food security and food sovereignty.
This season (2022) we continue with the flexible CSA model. This model allows you to choose the vegetables you want from the online store each week. Our services are available in the Tabusintac, Néguac and Tracadie regions. See the ''Online store'' section for an explanation of how the web platform works.
